I listened to the podcast Percy. You came across very well in it. re: the book I don’t have kindle and live in Aus, so haven’t got a copy. If there’s another way I can get a paper copy online I’ll happily do it and pay postage etc. I’d like a read of it.

Just finished reading it. It's a cracker. I wasn't part of that scene, I was a scarfer from the suburbs, but there was no way you could have been a Villa fan back then and not have heard the tales or witnessed the aftermath!
I'll leave a review on Amazon in a bit, but a bit disappointed you didn't sign my copy like you promised.

Just finished reading my copy and I must say how much I enjoyed it. It is funny, poignant and at times made me stop and think. Also knowing some of the people mentioned within  sparked some of my own memories into life. A GREAT READ!!!

Friends, Footie and Fighting = Fun
An excellent read. I’m not from Birmingham and have only spent one year of my life there, but I roamed the city a lot and this story brings my memories to life. All aspects of the protagonists life; growing, football, love, crime, music, friends is documented in a witty and flowing narrative. It has an episodic feel to it with each chapter focussing on one of these aspects which does not interrupt the flow. It would be great filmed in that manner!
