I joined Manila in about 2000 I think. The number of posters was very small, compared to now (dial up etc.). I do remember that there was another H&V site (that featured the likes of Hawkesey) that was confusing. It was merged when Manila folded, from (probably faulty) memory.

A few from the other site I think were Nasty Lee, Mazrim, Hawkesey and others. Was never sure how the merger came about. It was a bit like being thrown together at a teenage party, but I thought they were mostly ok.
I think I first joined in 2009/2010 time. I was still a bit of an internet newbie/latecomer. I was Damo for a few weeks but then was unable to log in (due to my own incompetence probably) so had to reinvent myself as Damo70.I still cock up quotes, struggle with posting links and have not got the first idea of how to post a picture.
Mazrim was a good poster and it's a shame he no longer posts on here. I think I saw his name on TBAR a few years ago.

How many people have been posting since the very beginning? The Ken Barlows and Ian Beales, if you will
