Happy Birthday. Any interesting stats or random facts, like, how many people have been on/banned, how many arguments, how many punathons in the last 23 years. Any weddings?

Please, don't ever, ever mention weddings on here.

One of the many strange things about him was that wherever he was, and at times he was my very own cyber-stalker, whatever name he used, he always made it obvious who he was.

He changed so often I wasn't 100% sure if he was still here under a different name.  Always thought he was funnier than he actually was.  See also Glen Peen.

I was mainly lurking in the Manilla days.  Remember the likes of Mad Rob, Malcom Everall ant the VT exiles.

I used to enjoy his pieces in the paper H&V. My main memory from the early days here was Fletch, H&V's own anti-Woodrow Wyatt. :)

I was sworn off H&V in around 2005 by a friend who claimed to have had an argument with Dave Woodhall. I started browsing around 2008ish and quickly realised (for various reasons) that my friend was a twat and H&V is great.

All's well that ends well.

Could you narrow it down a bit?

Haha I'm not sure. He was a seller, briefly. His brother had a season ticket in the Upper Holte but was secretly converting into a nose (and a BNP member) so I used to use his ST quite regularly.

The only time I went along with him selling H&V, he was standing by the Holte/Witton corner. Didn't get much custom, kept being told things like, "sorry mate, I buy from a regular".

No idea who that might be.

No, I doubt he would've made much of an impression. About 16 at the time, and a twat. Hardly in short supply, generally speaking!

I joined Manila in about 2000 I think. The number of posters was very small, compared to now (dial up etc.).

I do remember that there was another H&V site (that featured the likes of Hawkesey) that was confusing. It was merged when Manila folded, from (probably faulty) memory.

Two different Heroes and Villains sites? It's bad enough now with those Villatalk splitters!

It was notably inferior to Manila!

P.S. H&V is my cyber home and always appreciated.
