Why are so many saying relegation is ‘nailed on’ ‘racing certainty’ etc.  I saw enough fight there to take this to the wire unlike the last time we were relegated. There is only one team that is nailed on and that’s Norwich at the moment. Other teams around us have changed their managers which is always a risk
Probably because of the wild abandon with which we throw points away.

This. We are so careless.

That is sickening. Have to say we showed great spirit and sure we give chances away not there is a team there and to lose that way is heartbreaking. Feel sorry for Bjorn as he had played well

Beat ourselves today. Squandered chances and gifted them opportunities  and go9 als.
Encouraging performance in many respects  but a dreadful ending.

Engels having redeemed himself with his goal, decides to channel his inner Enckelman.

After Reina's late save, we should have just seen the match out  - poor game control again.
The same applies to the last few minutes of the first half prior to the "penalty"

Fuck, fuck fucking fuckety fuck.

Oh, and how come that none of the Spuds' were booked for constantly fouling Jack?

Can someone please explain exactly what Engels actually did?

A hopeless  through ball went straight to him.  Instead of trying to control the ball with his instep he tried to trap it with his studs.  Went straight through him letting in Son.  'Schoolboy error' doesn't do it justice.

Crap ending. Deserved a point

Hate losing, but losing to those ****** and that ****** scoring the winner. Vile.

And Twitter. My own fault, I can't resist having a look at the comments, relating to the pain of a fellow Villa fan. But there are so many wanky comments from fans of wanky clubs each time we lose.

You've got Blues fans of course. They must be wanking themselves silly.

There's Coventry fans and that used condom lookalike Wolves fan, amongst a number of the golden twats, who puts Villa-themed lyrics over shit songs. Fuck off.

And then there are man city fans from fucking Saturn or wherever they live, and Leicester fans, still angry about losing weeks ago. Despite being third in the league. Leicester. Third! But taking the time to come onto Twitter and slate us, seconds after a last minute loss.

There are a few Baggies fans with their boring GIFs and an array of other nonentity supporting bellends posting photos about 'dub'. I don't know what they're on about and hope they fall down a well.

Crap result. Time for bed.

Up the Villa.

Expected to lose. Played better than I thought. Reina was amazing.

He did that on purpose to get back at Terry.

Thought Samatta was excellent. Really intelligent play at times. Strong too.

Making the same mistakes in February as we were in September.

We aren't learning and we aren't improving.

Surprised by the start we made - Should have showed more ruthlessness in front of goal while we were on the front foot. Game management cost us again... which is slowly becoming the story of our season.

Reina - Awesome. Score could have been a lot worse.
Defense - Guilbert/Konsa played well today. Too many mistakes from Engels and Hause. Targett okay - Wasteful when in good positions.
Midfield - Douglas Luis played well I thought, Drinkwater is NOT a signing you make....EVER, at least not in the January transfer window when everyone else has half a season of fitness behind them. El Ghazi worked tirelessly today and was a good outlet with good linkup with Freddie. Jack was his usual self.
Forwards - Samatta played really well - Ran the channels, got into good positions and good link-up. Would have kept him on, as his replacement looked clueless.

We flattered Spurs today - They were there for the taking. Should have dropped a CB and plumped for 451, with a midfield of Doug, Marv, Conor, El Ghazi and Jack.

Hate losing.. especially against those cnuts in the last minute!

Smith says he thinks we are and we will get better... last 12 games:

Won 3
Drawn 1
Lost 8
Goals 13
Against 28
Pts 10

relegation form, conceded at least 2 in 8 of those 12 games. We have to be more solid, we're completely throwing this season down the pan.
