Bryson DeChambeau wins the latest PGA tournament in Detroit, his drives were averaging 350 yards, which is quite amazing. Well done to Tyrrell Hatton finishing joint 4th and also good to see Danny Willett also on the score.

Sadly, but not unexpected, Ryder Cup postponed until 2021, good news is still 3 Majors to look forward to.

First major of the year starts today, The PGA Championship at San Francisco. Not looking good for an English win Fleetwood and Fitzpatrick the best bets both at 45/1.

Favourites Thomas, Koepka 10/1, Rahm, McIlroy 14, Scauffele, DeChambeau 16, Johnson 22.

Woods is 35/1.

A 64 puts Tommy Fleetwood 2 behind the leader alongside Brooks Koepka and Justin Rose, with Paul Casey a further shot behind on 5 under.

Following a superb 65 Dustin Johnson leads on 9 under going into the final round. Scottie Scheffler and Cameron Champ 1 behind and Paul Casey and Brooks Koepka a further shot back. Casey has never won a major, in fact I can't ever remember him even being in contention for one and at the age of 43 it's unlikely to happen now. Looks like it'll probably be between Johnson and Koepka, looking forward to tonight.

It'd be nice if Casey or Fleetwood got their first rather then Koepka again.

What a great final round of 64 from Collin Morikawa to give him his first major, the eagle 2 he got on the par 4 16th was something special. Full credit to Paul Casey he played some superb golf to finish 2nd, just beaten by the better man.

It was some of the best golf I've seen for a while, at one time there were 6 players sharing the lead, certainly worth staying up for, finishing about 2 in the morning.

I was all set to watch it through to the end but the frequency and length of the ad breaks drove me up the wall and I bogged off to bed.  Great to see so many players in contention on the final day though.  Also good to see Koepka stuff it up.

I stuck with it once I was fully convinced Bryson de Knobhead wasn’t gonna win - there are so many American golfers that I truly cannot stand Mickelson, BdC, Blubba, Koepka & Keegan Bradley being top of the list so it was good that none of them won.

That tee shot on 16 was worthy of taking Morikawa over the line 👋
