It must have been taken when an under 23 game was in progress and for that reason isn't as great as it could have been.

December 2016 after our win against Wigan (Grealish in the last minute) southbound trains leaving New Street had to go north of the city centre because of problems around the airport so we went back past Villa Park fully lit up in the wintry night.  A true thing of beauty after a truly shit game (but a glorious goal) and a freezing cold second city. One of my favourite memories of recent seasons.

Still don’t like how the lighting for the lettering on the DE stand is blue though...surely they could have made it claret lighting?
