He's not exactly helping the cause but I'm willing to give him some slack. You've got to remember he landed in a new country with a completely different culture and language and within 2 months the country was locked down. On a personal level I can imagine the last six months have been incredibly difficult for him.
You would therefore think that football would be his release. They are very privileged are footballers and effort and hard work should come naturally. That said, if I had Trezeguet as one of my main sources of service, I would probably just give up. Grealish was really greedy too yesterday.
As I said in the match thread, he seemed to be playing in slow motion, seeming to really overthink everything he was doing and then telegraphing what decision he made.
