Tow years ago, though, I would have questioned the wisdom of giving him another contract, as he never convinced as a wicket-taker, despite some good showings in the one-dayers.

Hain 2 year contract extension

Let’s hope he reproduces his white ball form in red ball cricket. I had high hopes for him after his breakthrough season in 2014 but he’s stagnated in red ball cricket.

Play in the 2 day friendly underway at Edgbaston v Durham.
Durham batting are 64/0 after 20 overs.
Not sure the make up of the game, assume they bat today and Bears tomorrow.
So far 4 bowlers used: OHD, Norwell, H. Brookes and Craig Miles.

Live coverage is on the Edgbaston site.
