Has been excellent. Is going to be missed in jan.

Will probably only miss 2 league games (against Yanited and Everton) as Zim's group games are Jan. 10-18th.

And I don't think I'd fancy them to finish ahead of Senegal or Guinea.

Iroegbunam made the bench yesterday so maybe an opportunity for him to come in and play the role in those games?

Marvelous has turned from being a very average Premier League DM to one of the best, great to see.

Knew it!, just needed to be wanted and given a clear role it seems. Impressive turn of form, let’s hope he goes from strength to strength.

Marv is a true believer, sorry to admit that I cast doubt on him more than once. Happy to repent now though. Does it mean going to church?

No, cruel and unusual punishments should be a thing of the past.

I always knew he was Marvellous .

Just didnt realise he would be this good. Fair play to him . Seems a good egg too .    Might save is a few quid in midfield especially with Sanson starting to settle too.

Has been excellent. Is going to be missed in jan.

We definitely going to need to get someone in as only luoz can play there unless he plans to use tuanzebe there?

I think this could be a option as axel has the attributes to be a very good dm

It's interesting that Gerrard clearly doesn't see Luiz competing with Marvelous, as it appeared Dean did. Marvelous is his first choice DM, and he's been absolutely brilliant. I think Sanson is slowly being eased in to replace Luiz in the 3.

Terrific yesterday. His distribution is getting better and if he nails that he can be a really handy player.

Really excellent since Gerrard arrived. The narrower shape of the team means he doesn't get overrun all the time, and is better able to do his job.

Feel like perhaps I was judging him unfairly before.

Agree, plus the whole midfield looks miles better under Gerrard. McGinn is showing his Scotland form now. A beast yesterday.

We have struck a deal with the Zimbabwe Football Association which will see Marvelous Nakamba missing the pre AFCON training camp & possibly fly directly to Cameroon for the tournament start

His passing is now much, much better than Douglas Luiz's, which is not something I thought I'd ever hear myself say.

His passing is probably better than our £36m playmaker who has been bought because of his passing.
