I’d say almost certainly. He’s got the talent to adjust though.

He was the weakest yesterday, surprising, but still think he'll come good. Maybe a spell on the bench would do him good. He's played a lot of football in the last couple of years.

He hasn't really.  34 games last season, 13 this. Compare that to somebody like Bruno Fernandes. 73 games last season, 27 this.

He was involved in the following in 20/21
33 Premier League
1 League Cup
5 Olympics
7 WCQ
6 Copa America

19/20
36 Premier League
6 League Cup
4 Internationals

If we lose him on a free I won't be happy at all.

Unlikely to join Roma I would have thought, with both the team and Moaninho in free-fall.

He was linked with Roma a few weeks ago.

Not sure why we have not given him a new deal yet. He will be poached from us soon if we dont hurry up and get him tied down.

Luiz will be a superb cm in the next few years wait and see. For me he is as good as fred from utd and we paid less than half of what utd paid for him

I think players will increasingly see out their contracts. Chelsea have four defenders available on frees this summer (Manu Pogba?).

I’d be amazed if we haven’t offered him a contract, however I suspect he is holding out and quietly planning to leave on a free.  Just a hunch on my part.

I hope he stays.  He's still young and has great potential.

I am not sure as good as Fred is a compliment.

Shame he's not going to get to launch Ben Mee into the stratosphere on Saturday now.

Still feel unsure whether Duugee will reach the next level. He does things so effortlessly but ocassionally in every game he dwells a bit too much on the ball or puts in a risky challenge.

His second half against Man Citeh is the benchmark for me. If he can do it against that lot, he should be able to reach higher levels against regular human teams.

That is a major fault of his as I see it.  There's often a quick pass clearly on as there was a few times last night and he misses it because of it.  Momentum is lost and you have to start again. He's one of the few players I think who is not fully getting what SG is looking for.
