He's a little bit off pace. Nuhiu is a big unit and a good challenge for Tyrone tonight.

The whole team has started slow with basic errors all over the pitch. Looks like they aren’t comfortable on the playing surface to me more than anything else.

Quite a poor game from him. Didn't get challenged defensively really, but his passing was incredibly sloppy. He's not alone though.

Apart from a couple of misplaced passes he was fairly solid even if rarely challenged. He’s clearly finding his feet in this England team and has to create a new partnership with Macguire (who is particularly overrated), so any criticism from pundits can be ignored as there were mistakes and below par performances all over the pitch. He will grow in confidence and start being the leader of the defensive unit once he has more games under his belt.

Anyone else pissed off re the antics of Glenn Goddle? Picks up on every mistake from Mings, but chooses to say nothing when Alexander-Arnold (who I really rate, by the way) made no fewer than three obvious errors early in the second half.

Maybe Glenn was a better co-commentator in a previous life?

He’s much better than Stones, that’s all Southgate needs to know.

Glad I am not the only one who thought Hoddle had his own agenda.   He repeatedly overstated the quality of the opposition.  Keen, fit, up for the game, yes, certainly.  The new Wunderkinden on the block?  No.  Luxembourg are better.  Roy Keane's assessment of Tyrone was much fairer. Tyrone did alright.

He did okay, but the way England played was so slow from the back; which is a problem I believe Villa has. We need to move the ball more crisply and quickly, and I don't think the England experience will really do us any favours.

Yeah the commentator highlighted any Mings misdemeanour but ignored cock-ups by Maguire, TAA and others. Glenda also kept continually banging on about Tomori, definitely agree that Keane gave a better synopsis
