That can't be true that we're paying all his PL wages? Do we ever fucking learn?

It's staggering. If true, it's gross negligence.
Why do people think we're paying all his wages, has this been stated anywhere?  I'd be very surprised if we are.

It was in the Birmingham Mail and, I think, E&S

Bolasie has had two injuries in his career, Richards has had thirteen. The comparison is ludicrous.

Yeah, but Micah's great to have around the place.

A good point. He is Bantmaster General.

Another goal by Yannick and he seemed to want to take the pen however if you look at highlights the ball dropped to Whelan and he caught it and headed to the spot . It was like it's my ball I'm taking it .

There was a debate with captain Hutton. And. Axel Tuanzebe was in the picture too .
Bolaise would have been my preferred choice I feel Bruce from touchline should be screaming let him take it.

As much as Glenn Whelan is good at what he does the penalty taking isn't his forte.
He's like one of those pros who will have the balls but not the talent to deliver .
We seen that countless times in penalty shoot outs at business end
Those who like to get stuck in and give it a go fancy themselves for a penalty.

Also noted from footage around Grealish was on halfway line and Bruce had his back to goal . Though I think bruce done that before with pens.
Again Bruce abd coaching team need to be aware and make sure all players are around the box forcing home the penalty .

I mean it was the last kick and Whelan followed up the rebound but was too slow . A quicker player or more around the box still maybe give us chance.

I really feel that more of players needed to step up around the area .
Bolaise seems pleased to be playing football again and him and Tuanzabe we're stand outs.
Sometimes it the loan players who are most grateful to be playing .
We saw that with Snodgrass last season and Bolasie should be another.

One minor but irrelevant grip after his eqailiser he needed to get back to the half and go again for the winner . There was too much celebration by him rather than determination to get a late winner.

Though we still had that penalty chance .and I really feel more should have been made by all villa players around the box as I say last kick they could have all piled in.

Was all left to Whelan and think even though he was responsible i for one wanted Bolasie , Grealish, mcginn to take it .

We had Albert adomag miss late on against Burton now this . It's all very annoying

Hopefully he starts against Swansea. He has looked good coming off the bench.

Yannick scores again ! And as a sub! In the 90th minute . This time on international break Democratic Republic  of Congo. They lost , somewhat surprisingly at home, to Zimbabwe in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match. Bolasie played 37 minutes.

And have to say well played though ! He seems to be enjoying back playing and making most with his football again and is getting goals and being a threat .

I think he'll only get stronger and become vibrant .
Smithy has a ready made top quality player to use in his front positions .

African Cup of Nations.  Does this mean we lose players in January?

No Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon has been moved to June and July from the usual January and February . First time ever! And it's an expanded tournament!

March international break is only time the African representatives will be away in 2019 of this season for African nation's qualifying . Last round of matches.

So that's in between march home matches scheduled  boro 16th and  Blackburn 30th.

Bolasie will be at fixture playing Liberia home on 22nd march.

Cheers footy.

I had to look to confirm and get some extra details but I heard there were plans to move the tournament to major European close season months .
Cheers . Newby

I wonder how long it will take him to be fully match fit? Would suggest he's still some way off if he only played 37 mins last match?

I didn't realise he was away this break given he's hardly played

Might not be the freshest for today then

Abraham was giving him grief for not tracking back.

Abraham was giving him grief for not tracking back.

He barely tracked forward either.  You'd think he'd want to impress the new boss but that wasn't going to.

I've seen absolutely nothing in him since he signed to suggest he's worth a quarter of what we're allegedly paying him.
