Only we could shell out 50k plus a week on someone who isn't match fit.  It's like Richards time repeating itself. We must have handed over 300k plus since he arrived for  20 odd minutes on the pitch. But he did score!
His cameo yesterday wasn't great.

again you have missed the point - he's just like Richards in so much as we signed a player who has a history of injury and was clearly not fit/isn't fit because of those injuries. So respectfully not silly at all.

The difference is he's actually on the pitch unlike Richards and he's not our player so we won't be stuck with him for season's on end paying him for doing nothing unlike Richards.

He was surprised that there were opposition players on the pitch and they will not stand around whilst he casually waits for the ball to arrive.

What's this that we're paying all his 80k wages?!

Complete and utter madness if true given our FFP situation.

2018/2019 version of Onomah - not up to it.

We're all pissed off but that statement is just kneejerk rubbish!

A bit harsh to write him off so early

I'm not writing him off - for that money I desperately want him to succeed. All I was saying is that yet again we have committed considerable resource on a player with as terrible recent history of injuries, much like we did with Richards. Given our FFP situation is is a big gamble.

Give him a chance he hasn't even played a full match yet.

Bloody Hell. He's come on as sub, what, three times? He's been quiet twice and excellent once. Maybe wait until he has played a whole game to give up on him.

Incidentally, I was surprised to see Onomah on the Wednesday bench. Had no idea he had gone there.

He is not match fit, so give the bloke a chance. As for El Ghazi, he must be a but peed off Albert ahead of him

Bruce being backed to the hilt again, this time with Bolasie, with us paying all of his wages.

Our club must have money to burn, are naive beyond belief, or Bruce has the almighty gift of the gab with his new bosses.
