And he’s not a youngster, as noted on the other thread, he’s a year or two off his peak.

Pretty much relegated us with that first class display of bottling. Wanker.

shut up. the reason we're getting relegated is because we can't defend and our strikers are shit but let's put all the blame on a youngster who helped get us promoted and has contributed more than most this season.

where the fuck is Davis when these chances are created? At least El Ghazi gets in the positions.

He could be an important player for us next year.

Well said. But you didn’t mention a manager who doesn’t understand the words “substitutions”, “time wasting”, and “game management”.

He did bottle it though.

He should've thrown himself head first at it and it would've gone in.

That said Konsa was equally as bad with his attempt at a goal line clearance.

You try to white knight me for criticising el ghazi and in the same sentence you slag off Davis, who actually IS a youngster and who also did his bit to get us up last season. At least troll me coherently.

I'll give him the benefit info the doubt and say the keeper put him off, rather than he bottled it.

Overall though, I don't think he is quite good enough to play regularly at this level. It isn't because of that one miss that we will likely go down, but a consequence of our lacking quality in crucial positions over the duration of the season.

We should have left ourselves with far better options than El Ghazi, Trezeguet and Jota (remember him?) if we wanted to frighten teams.

If our relegation is confirmed, he will probably do a job for us next season at that lower level, just as he did in helping to get us promoted in the first place.

Wouldn’t lose any sleep if he left in the summer. Have never really taken to him due to his attitude more than anything else. Tonight is not the first time I’ve questioned his desire.

There is probably a reason he cost £8m.
