Showing why he only cost what he did.Done nothing today
Needs dropping and has done for a few weeks now.
I'm not sure why he should be knackered. There are fewer games than in the Championship, and we're not in Europe.
The report states that SJM will be rested against Liverpool tomorrow and that the midfielder was in considerable discomfort following Villa's 2-0 win over Newcastle last month, and a scan revealed a tear to a thigh muscle, thought to have sustained playing for Scotland.McGinn has been having painkilling injections to get through matches, and was not able to take a full part in training sessions. He is believed to have resumed normal training only last week, even though he still played every minute of the games against Manchester United, Chelsea and Leicester.
In DS defence, he will be going on the advice of the Dr and medical team. I hope so anyway.

He was administered injections to enable him to play, its self evident that the medical team were involved in the decision making process of allowing him to play.Sportsmen play with injuries on a routine basis. Find me a fast bowler that's not got a niggling injury.
