I think he joined afterward but I'm pretty sure that Didier Six was part of the French Euro Championship winning squad. One of the best debuts ever, it was all pretty much downhill after that mind.

In the squad and played in most games but not the final.  Bit of a Jimmy Greaves experience in '66 I guess.

I was at the final game, a 1-0 defeat to Brazil at the Parc des Princes. The trophy was presented after the game so I have seen England lift a trophy.
