Alison Mitchell really is superb (and soon belongs on another thread here), it's a masterstroke to give her a big part in the commentary team.

I think with Smith the way to deal with him is to try and nullify his scoring. I don't think going aggressive or attacking at him works, but if you stop him scoring I think it might force something rash.
Heard him attempt a Yorkshire accent at one stage, I just find myself swearing at the TV when he's on. Bet him and Vaughan have terrific 'bants'.

If he could stick to comments such as the above he'd be great but unfortunately I no longer hear what he's saying as he's too busy being the 'joker' and working on his club act.

He's too interested in the 'bantz' most of the time. On top of that I think he overplayed the thing about lyons bowling, he just went on for too long.
