I'm surprised after spending £127m that we only bought one forward. Letting playes go on loan and not replacing them with at least one striker was surely the logical way to go? This situation was always likely to happen with only 3 strikers to choose from. Why risk leaving yourself so short of options?

I don't think we need to worry to much when a third choice player gets a knock. If Wes gets injured that would be the time to worry. Although I do think Davis has something to offer.

Been a long long time since we've seen anything from Kodj to suggest he's anywhere near good enough to play in the PL.

I just hope not buying another forward doesn't come back to haunt us.
I hope saying “I just hope not buying another forward doesn't come back to haunt us.” doesn’t come back to haunt us.

He scored in his last full game, against eventual African Champions Algeria, and was pretty good throughout the tournament.

I'll not be writing him off just yet. Let's see how he plays when he's fully fit. Hopefully that won't be too far away.

I think we’ll sign another striker and let JK go in January if there’s any decent offers for him. How long does he have left on his contract?

That would be Virtual Insanity.

I agree. As frustrating as he can be to watch sometimes, on his day he's a very talented player.

Bloody broken cheekbone from an accidental clash with Marvelous. Out at least 3 weeks.

Marvelous is really trying to show he's up for being our midfield enforcer.

Maybe he fancies a go upfront?

Bad news, I wonder will Kodjia be up to speed when we need him.

DS thinks he has a role to play, otherwise he wouldn't be here. It may well be a minor part but that is why managers get paid the the big bucks these days.
