What a win for Pogacer. Ends up with three of the four jerseys available.

Obviously it needed the riders at the right places for the drama but whoever decided that TT course needs a medal as well. A generic one and it wouldn't have been as exciting but the need for  bike swap AND the climb being so brutal really added to that at the end.

More crowds on the climb than I expected.

After they stopped most people getting up the mountains, I thought the organisers would have blocked off more of the road today.

Brilliant ride by Pogacer, he has had a great tour. Limited team support in the mountains, caught out in the cross winds on one stage yet hung on to the Jumbo coat tails to pull of the victory.
He, van Aert, Evenpoel (sp?) van der Poel are just a few of a very good generation coming through.
Pleased for Porte and Bennett as well.

Just watched the highlights.

Absolutely phenomenal - so incredible my thoughts sadly turn to hoping he's clean.  Taking over a minute from Tom Doumoulin on a stage like that, at the age of 21, is beyond comprehension.

This year has been one of my favourite tours - it's had some superb stages, fantastic individual rides, great team dynamics.

I just hope there's no scandal off the back of it.

Oh, and absolutely delighted for Richie Porte too.  An absolute superhero in this race for the best part of two decades.

Hell of a ride from Pogacar. All the pundits picked him to overtake Roglic week or so back but Roglic (and team) defended well in the mountains so thought that was that. No one predicted that time trial.

First Irishman to win the Green jersey since the great Sean Kelly and hails from the same small town in Tipp.

It would have been nice to have a "battle" for that shirt as well but for Sagan and WVA to have that coming together a few weeks ago. However still happy he got it.

Bad accident for Chloe Dygerts in her defence of the Worlds TT title. She has posted a pic of the aftermath and she is very lucky it wasn't a major artery that was caught.

As expected Ganna in Rosa from the first TT. 22 Seconds ahead of anyone else although probably his only other competition slid out early on.

Geraint might be out after falling in the Neutral zone and now being abandoned by his team as he falls out the back of the Peloton.
