And on Edna Stevens he seemed to thrive in that first season back in Prem under Wilder wing back system. Was really very good had improved and look comfortable at Prem level. They werent so good at all last season though.

Always liked him as a player. But we had Barry, Petrov and Reo-Coker at the time.

Early hint of how Social Media would develop was that there was talk about MoN letting him go because he was a Protestant. Seriously.

I believe he mentioned it as an early example of the sort of bollocks you hear spouted on social media rather than there being any truth to the story.

Andi Weimann, a player I always liked (perhaps more than I rated), has made the Guardian's Championship team of the year:

Apparently, he's had an absolute blinder of a season! 22 goals and 10 assists in an average-at-best side.

He's just turned 30 now, so about the same age as Danny Ings.
