Yes thankfully, he was unlucky not to have a clean sheet. I can't fault him for the goals.
Distribution was excellent at times, though Watkins made some comments about the keeper going long in the second half and the midfield being too far away from Ollie.
One point in the second half, Martinez fired a great kick early and reached either Diaby, Watkins, or Bailey. I can't remember which player but thought that was excellent goal kicking, and I also enjoyed seeing him getting a few quick throws out to players.

So pleased he wasn't booked and he's just so very good at claiming the crosses Luton played it into our hands ! Literally Martinez!

Beautiful. They should put it in the Louvre.

It’s lovely it’s so recognisably iconic, and he’s ours, and there is a danger we might actually live up to his ambitions… special times.

They could sell reproductions too. Horseface could have one in his living-room to remind him how far he has to go.

Emi was watching the Lakers beat the Pacers last night. https://twitter.com/AstonVillabrfc/status/1772240603381641495

The squad are in L.A. ahead of their game against Costa Rica on Weds.

Its a tough life

I wonder with so many of the National team based in the premiership - they must have a chartered private plane to ferry them around.

Cant see them going economy with Ryanair  ;)

If it's good enough for SJM, it's good enough for a lad from Mar Del Plata. However, given Emi is tall like me, I'd recommend he opts for a seat with extra legroom.
