Agree with Achilles, the resale thing is crap. First time I did it, it never sold fair enough. But this season the Everton game, I saw my seat available then unavailable and my Witton Upper muckers confirmed that there was a bloke in my seat. I never saw a penny back.

Anyhoo, I couldn't make the Salzberg game, so found a way to transfer to a mate.

In fact he could probably transfer to anyone with a Villa account, not even a member.

As long as they have a fan ID you can move it on.

Apologies if it seems obvious but I have a couple of questions, as I don't go to matches amy more.

If I have been offered a ticket for Thursday, can I get in without being a member. If so, how do I do it?

Many thanks.

I think you just need a fan ID number i.e. you have previous ticket booking history.

If the person offering the ticket has it in their Google Wallet then they should be able to just transfer it to you.  I would guess it's the same for Apple.

If you're getting a ticket via the Villa app then I'm not sure.  You can register for a fan ID here:

https://members.avfc.co.uk/register

Fan IDs have been around since Ellis so it's possible you already have one.

I can’t make the Liverpool game now it’s been moved back to the Friday. How do I send it back to the club for a possible resale?

You need to login and go to your account and then the Tickets section.  From there you need to click the "resale tickets" button.  However, due to the late change of kick off time this condition will apply to you:

Quote
Any fan who purchased a ticket(s) before Friday 8th May and cannot attend the new kick off time is eligible for a refund by contacting the ticket office no later than 72 hours prior to kick off. All tickets purchased after this date and time are Non-Refundable

...if you go the resale option there's a decent chance it won't resell.  The above guarantees your refund but it doesn't say how.  I interpret that to mean you need to call the ticket office.
