They're not gonna win it either.

It's over.

Ridiculous way to blow it.

No chance - and it’s not our current position. It’s that it’s been laid bare quite how short our squad is. The midfielder issue is unfortunate, the attacking one is entirely of our own making.

We were never realistically winning it. I'm still enjoying the fuck out of the ride though and as long as there's a chance there's fun.

It's way more fun being top 3 than bottom 3. Even when we put in a stinker.

Plus point is HOPEFULLY, all our midfielders could be back by March. Question is what the fuck will we do until then.
At least February's a short month!

You don't find winning the majority of games for 3 years fun? We haven't been this consistently good since the 1930s. Spent years being shit not long ago. So yes, I enjoy being consistently better than we've been for 90 years. I'll enjoy it even more if we get even better.

Because we aren't yet in a position to have a squad that can win the league. ManC and Arsenal won't be reduced to a bench like ours today.

Midfield is too exposed by injury, not our fault. Attack has been messed up, our fault.

I’m not trying to pick a fight.  You seem sound. But this is a massive opportunity, we have to go for it and hard.

I’ve been a fan since the mid 80s so I get it.

I don't want to settle for 4th/5th/6th every year and accept that as our ceiling. But look at where we were that night in Fulham. Every single one of us wouldn't have believed it if told what the next 3 years would be. If you can't enjoy the journey when it's like this will you ever enjoy the destination.

And i'm using a generic "you" rather than aiming it directly at you just to be clear.

Oh for  Rashford and Asensio impact from the January window. With a couple of players like that, I think we could still put the willies up Arsenal and Citeh.
