TBF - I dont think we pulled a stunt with Elliot - its not our fault we have found hes not worth the money.

Its no different that with Luiz at Forrest - there a long way off triggering his buy clause.  Im not convinced by his injury prognosis.  It doesnt add up to me - you dont have to by him if he only plays x games, you do if he plays y, but if he plays z then hell be fucked.

Cant see how anyone plays 30m for a player in that state, not in todays market.  We had similar theories about Grelaish when he went to Man City - he going because he cant play a full season and being rotated works better for him etc etc

Doug was at his best alongside Kamara. Wasn’t the same player without Bouba next to him.

Agree but without Kamara we could try and crowd out the opposition by playing three in the middle.

In which case you’d need Tielemans and/or “Doug” to step out, with Bogarde/Onana remaining as DCM.

The team is obviously better with kamara but if we can get someone of dougs quality - who cruically Unai trusts - for 30m that feels like a much safer bit of business than anything we have done for a long a time

Luiz has been nowhere near his best form for us for 2 years and some of that time when actually playing for us.
When Luiz was good it was with Kamara not instead of him.
