He isn't, he'll start at Brentford.

🚨🟣🔵 Aston Villa have made contact to be informed on Hector Fort deal as Barcelona RB could leave this month.

Initial talks ongoing.

Hector Fort (19) HASN'T been registered by Barca for the start of the season.

Might be that he'll be a "victim" of their appalling financial mismanagement.

The question is, why would we sign him when weve already got Garcia as cover for Cash?

Unless we think that Fort has a higher ceiling - 30 La Liga appearances for Barca - than Garcia (50 games for Levante in Segunda Division). Wonder if we're thinking of flipping Garcia for a modest profit?

I think he can play CB too. Which is his value, garcia can also play winger but would expect him to go to the championship with an option maybe.

He's a right back who can also play left back but when I watched his reel the other week, there was obvious attacking talent there. Like someone who played further forward coming through the youth age groups but has been moved back the more he's grown up. He looks a safer bet to me than Garcia, and I thought Garcia showed glimpses.

Garcia has hardly had a chance, surely?

It's a bit reminiscent of MON times, the weirdness around right backs.

Yeah don’t get it - we need a centre back, get a centre back. Right back currently is a much lower priority.
