Thanks Dave, great analysis. I think you’ve hit the nail on the head with that closing point around the feeling of turning a corner then running into a dead end. It really has felt like that this year and it’s incredibly frustrating.

You make a really good point right at the end Dave. I’m sick of us playing the politically correct football club went as a team seem to spend what the fuck they want and get away with it. I wish we would be a bit naughtier at times. Take the fine and the points deduction for the players we really want and need.

There’s no guarantee if we went this route that it would mean we’d be successful either. No, the accurate part of the article is about the need for leaders on the pitch. Mings would have been an improvement today.
