We should be one of the teams least prone to fatigue, given that we play most games at 2 mph.Watching Liverpool yesterday, it struck me how much more quickly they seem to do everything compared with us. And they keep up that intensity for most of the game. The last time I can recall us doing that was against Abu Dhabi.
We let slip a 2 goal lead yesterday, vs brentford. We let a two goal lead slip at luton to get to 2-2 but luckily we scored a 3rdWe were 3 up vs forest and let forest back at 3-2 before scoring a 4th. we then let a 2 goal load slip vs burnley before scoring a pen last minute and just about winning that one. Then the week before we let a 2 goal slip vs manure losing 3-2 another collapse. To add to my point to the RECENT games about the opposition scoring 1st. City, spurs, newcastle , chelsea (in cup) and utd at home. All those clubs scored first and guess what a total of a big fat zero points! The only one we got a point from the opposition scoring 1st was west ham up to that manure game at OTSo then you are telling me there is no pattern there? This was rarely happe ing in 1st half of season
Why on Earth would anyone look at the table every week? It only matters after 38 games!

The fact we've dug ourselves out of it a few times doesn't mean the issue doesn't exist.People can point at stats and take the piss, but it's something Ollie has noticed and I can guarantee you it is something Emery will have noticed too. This is a football discussion forum. I think this is a reasonable thing to chat about without having abuse thrown at you. I do wonder if some people would be happier if the only thread allowed on Heroes Discussion part of the board was a weekly updated league table.
I could only watch back the goals last night on MOTD2. Brentford's first is a complete fluke.
