What a wonderful piece by John!

My dad still sings "It's a long way to get to Wembley" and "There'll always be a Villa"

I will send this to my Dad. Hopefully it will bring back some memories?

I sent it to my dad too. He came back with this….

I was at Burnley that goal by Peter - was a beauty. I described it to him when we met.

SONG                Its a long way to go to Wembley   Its a long way to go.   Its a long way to go to Wembley   But we we’ll get there we know.   Goodbye Bristol City.   Goodbye Middlesboro.   Its a long  way to go to Wembley. But we’ll get there we know.
