Have we ever been Kings of London before?

Correct if I’m wrong, but at this moment in the season we have beaten every London club in the division. I love a statistic and wondered whether that has ever happened before? I live in London with in-laws who are Spurs and plenty of mates who support the gamut of London clubs so having fun at the moment, UTV.

The Arsenal home game last season is our only defeat to a London side under Unai.

I would think it’s currently the highest number of London clubs there’s ever been in the top division - so it’s an impressive stat.
There were only three when we won the league in 80/81 and we didnt even beat all of them! We did beat the other six Midlands clubs though.

We’re kings of London every day of the week. And the 8th day as well.

Our daughter has just landed in BC for Christmas. She's out in Port Moody. Whereabouts are you?

There were also seven London teams in Division One in 1986-87 (Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham, Wimbledon, QPR, Charlton) plus Watford, Luton and Oxford relatively nearby. We got one point in London (and a total of two if you include those other three nearby), although we only managed one win and five draws away from home in the league all season. Won two out of seven v London teams at home.
