Benjamin Zephaniah

I feel a bit weird putting this on HEITS as I did not know Benjamin personally but I think he deserves to be remembered as one of us.

A Brummie and Villan who had talent and used it with integrity. A man who used his talents to overcome his early years lack of education and opportunity. Refused an award with class and explained his decision without rancour. He showed the joy and emotion of being a Villa man to the benefit of the club.

In his memory just read one poem
