I don't mind the city centre.

It's that funny high pitched slightly effeminate sounding local accent that does my head in.


It’s fucking awful. I’m really worried that my kids will start to pick it up from school.

I'm happy that by growing up in a village about 12 miles outside of Leicester, I never picked it up. (Or at least I fucking hope not!)

When I had county trials for football, the Leicester lads thought I was posh. My Welsh mum was beaming with pride!

Leicester's not that bad. Not when you have places like Wolverhampton, Dover or Stoke knocking about.
