Feeling for Potter. He's one of the game's good guys

He decided to leave a decent job at a team and turn up at another one for loads more money and with no actual say in transfers or other aspects he could control at Brighton. If it wasn't that we are now two points behind and seriously looking at Europe, I would have stated I hope Brighton get in there and Chelsea do fuck all.

True though. Assuming that one of the three teams in the FA Cup semis that are above us win the thing then we're two points away from Europe. It'd be the most unforseen earlier in the season qualification for Europe since Gregory '98

Yeah, can't have a pop at him for having ambition.  Okay, so it's not worked out for him so far but practically anyone in a similar situation would have done as he did.
