Seems a bit cheap that, but then again, I suppose it all depends on what clauses we have placed within the contract.

I reckon there’s a sell-on clause. But he only had a year left on his deal apparently.

Ah, fair enough.

I wasn't aware of the contract length.

Tbf, he didn't particularly stand out at Blackburn last year & after getting first team football at Exeter at the age of 15, you would think he would have been further on in his career at this point.

Although an injury might have been an issue at one point, but I might be wrong about that...

It was, torn knee ligaments meant he missed half a season (when he was on loan in Scotland) and when he came back he didn't look the same player.

Looked to me that he had a decent second half of last season for Blackburn.

Hope it goes well for him at Naaarch.
