My Uncle Ken

My Uncle Ken passed away yesterday to join the ranks of HEITS.

A former Birmingham club doorman, he was in his eighties and had been ill for a long time so more of a release for him than anything I suspect.  As a kid, our family was pretty much all Villa and this time coincided with the halcyon late 70's early 80's, Butler on the radio, European nights and he was a big part of our lives.

Farewell my Villa friend.

Sorry to hear this Oz, I'd be 100% certain that my paths with Ken would have crossed some time back in the late 70's and 80's. RIP
