I'm taking my entire household today. I noticed people drinking and making merry around the statue quarter before the Leeds game, so can anyone tell me if this is a permanent thing, as we wouldn't mind a bit of it beforehand. And what's the best time to see the players arriving, is it about an hour and a half before kick-off?

Hoping for a good day, don't mind the cold but wishing any rain is light and short-lived, with the highlight being a Villa romp. I wouldn't mind seeing a change or two in the starting line up, as long as we stick with our twin 10s, but let's give them a firmer foundation. 3-0 us, one each for our magical trio Buendia, Coutinho and Ramsey.

Looks like it.

“ Outside the stadium there will be several street food trucks situated on the Trinity Stand forecourt and a bar serving alcoholic and soft drinks. The traders include Flying Cows, The Grub Shed and Only Jerkin.”

Badly needed and may help with the infrastructure pressures. Redeveloped North Stand needs more of these kind of facilities pre- and post-match. This is the game changer Villa Park requires.

I agree, it made a noticeable difference on the concourse in the UT before Leeds. We actually managed to get some chips & curry sauce for once.

Good call, he would probably do better with crosses.

CD pointed it out. I'd never considered it before so took his critique on board and adopted it.

My Liverpool mate at work gave me some encouragement today. Said that when Klopp first came in, results weren't any better than Rodgers before him. He reckons it took about a year for players to really get the ideas and fitness required.

I'm happy to give Stevie G 3-4 years if it means 2 Champs League finals winning one of them.

Right now, I'd take two FA Cup finals, winning one of them.

People talk about Leeds as a bogey team yet Watford really are.

Pretty hard to believe we get McGinn and Luiz again after recent performances.

That's daft talk, and you know it!

After the last 2 games, anything can happen and it probably will.

2-1 us.

Ings for Watkins the only change.

That's a surprise, given all the talk of how unhappy he was after Newcastle.  Maybe he's read the riot act and the got the reaction he wanted on the training field? Maybe he's giving them a chance to put it right? Who knows.  Either way, if we DON'T see a hugely improved performance there will be a lot of questions asked of his decision to keep 10 of the Newcastle line-up.

I don't think we can be as bad as last weekend. Oh god, please don't let us be as bad as last weekend...

Sarr starting is a worry, he's a good player and generally plays well against us.
