Who remembers clackers? They were an old-time playground favourite. There was always a Norman wasn't there?

Do you remember the Aztec bar?

There was always one lad at school who had a really powerful magnet.

i had bruised wrists from my clackers
and
There was always one knob at school who soaked his conker in vinegar to make it rock hard
and he always had the best gobby at marbles

Yep. My immediate thought was that at least it was better than having bruised clackers from your wrist.
