I think westy and gueye looks good

Bacuna in midfield and Kozak up front less so

Would be great if gestede considered ready but don't think he will be. Kozak looked extremely cumbersome and slow v forest. Hopefully that was partly fatigue which he's now recovered from

He's played some pre season gestede hasn't. But yes I agree there must be Qs

I wonder about gabby fitness

Just watched the forest highlights again. That defence really is a concern, especially against good passing movement

Will Sanchez be available? If Veretout isn't ready, I think I'd rather have Sanchez alongside Westwood and Gueye over our other available options (Bacuna, Richardson, Cole). Of course, that's a midfield severely lacking in final third thrust, but given that we don't really have a no. 10 healthy enough (Gil and Grealish both out; Cole probably not going to be fit enough to start ever again), I think we might have to play fast on the counter with Sinclair, Ayew and Gabby.

I'm not sure gabby is match fit either? Not if Ayew considered ready but he might need to be

What's an SS?

Shortstop. Villa have made a shock signing. Bringing in Derek Jeter

What's an SS?

Smurf striker.

Another quota to be filled. We're aiming to homegrow a couple or so next season.
