Well possibly the Winter Olympics in 2022. Only 2 places seem to want it, Beijing (100 miles from the nearest Skiing mountain) and Almaty in Kazakhstan. Norway is the latest to drop out the running after deciding it was too expensive.

I'm surprised that Denver's never had the Winter Olympics.

They could have hosted in 1976 but turned it down.
