And it's that time of the year again when I ask for blank pages to be filled.

Deadline's Sunday 10th August ready for publication on Friday 15th, the day before the match. We'll be so up to the minute it hurts.

You should have the triple crown now. Can you confirm though, is the Villa one too negative for a contributor of my usual cynical, but vaguely cheerful, disposition?
