As a trustee of the Beacon Centre for the Blind in Sedgley can I publicise this charity match taking place this Sunday at Hednesford Town FC - 2.30 pm kick off.

http://www.beacon4blind.co.uk/services-and-resources/news/aston-villa-legends-kick-off-for-charity/

I'm in the squad but expect it to be a cameo appearance seeing as how I seem to be the oldest person in the team, and I'm crap at football.

Thanks

Good luck to you Richard. Take lots of Paracetamol with you, and a walking stick or frame should you need it after your first collapse. A very good cause.

Best of luck. Hope it goes well.

I think a win is on the cards for you. My dad always said the Villa couldn't beat the Blind School.

Link to a video about the event if anyone is interested:-

It wasn't the most "all-star" of Old Star teams - Neil Rioch, Martin Carruthers and Julian Joachim were the most famous names.

All donations to the Beacon Centre always gratefully received!
