Aston Villa: My Part in its Downfall by Randy Milligan Lerner
Meh. Starts off exciting enough. Ends in anti-climax. ;)

Just reading "the enemy" by Lee Childs  in this one already he has one charachter called Vassel and one called Carbone coincidence?

I think he might be the writer/Villa fan who lives in New York?

Too late for the competition in the OP but I've just found another one!

It's a mention in a scene between two detectives enjoying a huge meal in a balti restaurant in the middle of Dudley. The book is 'Beneath the Bleeding' by Val McDermid, a Tony Hill ('Wire in the Blood') murder mystery. The story begins with the murder of a footballer, hence the conversation they are having.
