I missed the Sunderland match last season. Bastards.

You probably didn't miss anything. Did you ever find out how the game ended?

He's looked very competent in all of the games SH. He looks to have a good motor on him too. I think he will be a very pleasant surprise.

I think every time Leeg got a text from me during the Sunderland game he cried a little.

I'm beginning to notice a pattern here. This is the second game I've missed now (no internet connection on a nightout) that we've won convincingly...

I've just bought you a one-way ticket to Ulan Bator.  ;)  Do you want it by mail or Fedex?

Oh and if it's any consolation I flew back to UK for a weekend in London and the Sunderland game. Due to work I had to fly back early on the Sunday. At least my colleagues in the bank were treated to the sight of me bouncing round the office as I followed the game on the BBC. To be fair to them they're a lot of them are Zimbabwean (mainly Chelsea) or Kenyan (mainly Man U) but they're always chuffed to see the Villa doing well.  Maybe because I've been to their grounds more than they have and they saw how despondent I was during the Bradford games.

Was Benteke his normal self? He didn't seem to celebrate his goals much.

I noticed that, also he did not seem to be congratulated much by team mates much either - still he could have gone completely over the top and kissed the badge which would have made me more angrier

I think you perhaps over analysing, looking for things that aren't there. It was a friendly at a league one side, I don't think anyone is likely to swallow diving into the crowd.

Andi's goal was celebrated, then CB's first was celebrated a bit less, after that I think that were realising that it was virtually a stroll in the park so couldn't be bothered celebrating. Am sure it will be different on 17/8.

After all CB goals , he just wiped away the flesh from his mouth with his shirt after he had just eaten the defender.
