Tomorrow against QPR is a make or break game and will determine the remainder of the season.  However, 24 hours later a Villa team will be in battle in another crucial match to determine their season, but one which hopefully be the catalyst for a cup run!!!!

Aston Villa Ladies FC are up against Liverpool Ladies FC in the Womens FA Cup 5th Round.  Liverpool Ladies are a semi-professional side in the Womens Super League and have had as many squad changes as a Rafa Benitez  team, AVLFC have had a steady squad and a good crop of players, many of whom are of international standard.  The club have received a lot of support from AVFC hopefully will be joining Liverpool in the WSL soon.  Beating Liverpool would be a nice little cup shock.

The difference between AVLFC and the mens team is that the ladies have to do a full time job in the real world as well as play in claret and blue...

The match is at Boldmere St. Michaels FC, Church Road, Sutton Coldfield, B73 5RY.  Gates open at 1 p.m. and kick off is at 2 p.m. and the clubhouse with a bar will be open.

Excuse me, we have to join the WSL?

WE invented the fucking Football League, no application should be necessary.

If I see their scores I want them to win because they have our name. But, and i really mean this with no disrespect to them, I don't care too much.

Nice to see them getting a bit of coverage on the club website. I'll pop to one of their matches one of these days.
