Fans' input needed for travel research
« on: February 27, 2013, 03:05:17 PM »
Hi

I'm posting from transport charity Campaign for Better Transport to let you know about a new project to improve match day travel that we are working with the Football Supporters' Federation on.

Fans from clubs across England and Wales are needed to fill in a five minute survey about how they get to matches and how their journeys could be made easier by clubs, transport companies and local councils.

We want to hear fans’ experiences of trips to matches home and away and, at the end of the season, we'll be assessing clubs and their local transport authorities on how well they make transport easy for fans and match days less disruptive for local people.

Find out more and fill in the survey here: http://www.bettertransport.org.uk/football

I've done it. Why not bring back the old Special buses that used to line up outside the ground?

Re-open Ashby de la Zouch railway station, closed in 1964!

Heheheh. Fairplay. I would have given up waiting for a train to stop after 49 years.
