I was there for his debut against Sunderland in 1983 and his last game at Coventry in 1991. I think his first appearance was as a sub in the Super Cup final and I was there too. I will never forget his performance against Inter and I remember a few goals over the years but what I most remember is that he played during some very good and some very bad seasons for the club but his effort and attitude never changed.
