I'm not sure how the ref or linesman can give the penalty (against Bennett) as it was almost impossible to be sure from their point of view. In which case it should not be given.
Also, there is an argument it was ball to hand too. But they are sometimes given. Harshly in my opinion.

We all know about the ball to hand thing but refs give them all the time - Cuellar at W Ham a few years ago had turned his back to the ball when it struck his upper arm from about 5 yards away - the ref still gave the penalty.
Also Ridgewell a week ago for the Baggies was blatant handball and Olson on at least two occasions recently has moved towards the ball and knocked it away with his elbow - no penalties given. The ref gives what he sees, and that's that.
As with a few others who were there yesterday, I thought it was a penalty against us but as has been said, it's about time we had a bit of luck.
UTV!
