What a contemptible bunch some of their fans are. I rank them second only to the knuckledraggers. Then again, a few of ours hardly cover themselves in glory. Apparently I'm not a real Villa fan due to my association with the *expletive deleted* fanzine and disliking O'Neill as I'm a child of the 70s whatever that means. Given that this weekend has focused the mind on the fact that Villa Fans are all born within the shadows of Villa Park or at the very worst inside the No11 route, why was my copy posted from Wales and not inner Brum?  It proper confused me, I do that middle aged thing where I try and anticipate what's inside an envelope for a few moments before I open it.

Anyway it was a nice surprise and a good issue, one of the most optimistic for a couple of years.
