I happen to think they could have charged £5 a ticket and we'd have still had a poor attendance tonight.

What's the crowd?
15,319.

yikes, really? That's horrendous
Blimey that is low. How much did it cost for a ticket?

£12-£20 I think.
Yes, I've been chiming in all week about the pricing being too high and predicting a 15K crowd but have been getting short shrift fom Mr Woodhall.  He claims that the pricing strategy was all down to Tranmere.  Sorry but surely the negotiators at Villa need to be a little bit stronger.

Mr Woodall is right Tranmere have to agree and you have to bear in mind a lot of people are away as its the last week of the childrens holiday

We only had 18K for Blackburn in the 3rd round in 2010. It happens, especially in the league cup these days.

I remember that. The crowd was probably bolstered by the fact it was Houllier's first game as well, so it probably could have easily been a lot lower than that.

Not a bad price then. I suppose while most of the West Midlands are in Devon (it seems like that here!) and we have a piss poor start it's going to be low. That is very low though.

tonights game should have been a tenner
