My Port Vale supporting friend says that the Beech is a good pub. If you're coming straight from the train station, carry on just past the ground and it's on the left.

Any tips for parking ?
Use your rear-view mirror and try not to clip the kerb.
Anyone who doesn't mind going in the Burton standing sections, you can pay cash at the turnstiles on the day. I'd imagine there'll be plenty who do that, myself included. Popular Side (North Stand) is probably the best bet.

You can pay at the gate in the Burton sections. They're putting that about to put large numbers of Villa turning up without tickets.
