You must remember we probably only lost 2/3 million maximum from income  in gates receipts as most of the money comes from else where ie tv. Through getting rid of the likes of Heskey and Guzan off the books and only replacing them will people on half or a fraction (kello) of there wages they look to have already broken even. It's quiet insignificant on the scale of things and sad I know.

Just looking at we spent 80m on wages if you take off 20m for backroom staff etc (including youth players etc). It gives an average player wage of (assuming a squad size of 25) as

60m/25= 2.4m
2.4m/52= 46000pw! (average)

that is insane!
